Beat Angel fundraising trailer
Brandon is a Seattle filmmaker whose work includes the 16mm short Gar-den, plus DP and producing duties on Dave Churchills' 16mm "color noir" short, Viscera. Also look for Brandon's work in William B. Weiss' 16mm short, Seeman: Deine Heimat ist das Meer.
On a hectic shoot for an early Beat Angel fundraising trailer, two extras didn't show up for their "Nun" parts. The director scanned the faces of that day's all-male location crew; only Brandon had shaved that morning and was quickly awarded the role. (You can make your own "habit" jokes.)
The footage was never used in the movie,
but this continuity Polaroid lives on forever
on the World Wide Web.
